Developer Arkane Studios' first release, Arx Fatalis, is a first-person RPG featuring hand-to-hand combat, spell casting, and exploration in the tradition of such classics as Dungeon Master, The Elder Scrolls games, and the Lands of Lore series. Generate characters with variable attributes including armor class, resistance to magic and poison, life energy, mana, and damage ability. Abilities such as strength, intelligence, dexterity, and constitution play a heavy role in influencing skills like intuition, ethereal links, object knowledge, magic, projectiles, close combat, defense, stealth, and more.<br><br>Interactive environments invite players to explore the vast world of Arx as they search out and destroy the evil menace threatening to lay waste to the world. Caves, caverns, underground passages, and dungeons are filled with minions of the demonic army and can be cleared only with the use of hand-to-hand combat and a rune-based magic system. A pretty penny but a great game
This game is comparable to Morrowind for Xbox but I actually think it is better. I had never heard of it but was looking for another game to play on the original Xbox that was sort of a medieval knight type of game. Usually I won't pay higher prices for a game (one of the reasons I still use the old Xbox is because I got all my games for less than 10 bucks or so. I took a gamble to try this game that is marked up in price due to it's relative scarcity and it's a really good game. You need to use an online game walkthrough to help figure it out but it's a great game if you like Morrowind.This game is comparable to Morrowind for Xbox but I actually think it is better. To start with, it is a good idea to read the game book completely so that you the player can better understand how to use the points in the various skill areas. And the player needs to remember to "SAVE" each advancement in the game as the player goes on or else wonce you lose the game goes back to the start level. The graphics are so-so. and the backround sounds may get irritating as well. Arx Fatalis for the Xbox
I like the game, because it's like the Elder Scrolls: Oblivion game for the Xbox 360. I like exploring new environments, and the main story is really good. The graphics are like the old playstation at best, but once you get into the game like I did, those graphics don't really matter. A word of advice to anyone going to buy this game: Make sure your guy is top form, otherwise you'll die early on in the game either from one powerful opponent or multiple ones at the same time. Great Game
I love the game. The playability is great and it translated well from PC to console. I do not understand why it was rated M for mature sexual themes as there have been none in the entire game. Maybe there is part of the game that I haven't seen yet. It is a very violent and bloody game so I would recommend that younger audiences steer clear of this one.

Nice Average Game
This is a nice game, nothing fancy, good story line, avg game play. Nice RPG. If your bored of playing old games and broke, buy this game for cheap, will get some good hours of fun game play.
