  • beautiful lens

This lens was in perfect condition. I returned it only because I did not research it sufficiently to learn that the lens, by design, does not couple with the rangefinder. I wanted to make portraits with it and found that, it did not focus close enough for my needs and I did not have the means to accurately focus this lens at its closest range. Had I purchased it primarily for landscape work I would have kept it and used the depth of field scale to easily focus the lens. The finder is a beauty and the lens is clean. The seller graciously refunded my money when I asked to return the lens. A very nice man.

  • a great telephoto lens

Looking forward to using this on my Red Scarlet Dragon, gives me a great mid range telephoto image, also love playing with it on my Mamiya 645AF

  • Excellent mid-range telephoto for Medium Format

If you have a Mamiya 645 medium format camera and need a bit more "reach" in a lens this one is great. It is surprisingly light and compact for a longer telephoto and the built-in lens hood helps keep your camera bag uncluttered. Optically it is very sharp and with the hood pulled out is flare free. Quality of construction and finish is very good and comparable to other Mamiya lenses.

  • Very good value for money, I loved it.

An excellent piece if glass. I'm going to use it for deep space wide filed astrophotography (a very tough filed for any lens) with cooled CCD, and my tests so far showed excellent color correction and super flat filed all over my (small) FOV, even wide opened. As expected from a 645 quality lens.

  • Great Lens!

I needed more reach than my portrait lens could offer but still wanted the bokeh so this lens did it for me!
