    Good quality,but no 3.5mm jack

    Its a good product,but the lack of 3.5mm jack is very disappointed for a brand like sennheizer!they basically make you spend extra on adapters and thats wrong for high end products. Adorama also put wrong description pointing there is 3.5mm adapter,but there isn’t. I would consider Bose or Sony next time.

    Fine for my purposes…

    these are fine for my weekly four hour radio shift but not great for at home focused listening. (These replaced my Sennheiser 424 headphones that I bought a 1974. Truly outstanding headphones. All I ever replaced were the foam ear pads…

    Great headphones if you have the right adapters or hardware.

    I was looking for something to replace my Sennheiser HD449 headphones. In a sense these are not a direct replacement, as they don't directly plug into a phone. It has a 1/4" jack only. For now I've been using them with an adapter to be able to connect to the USB-C port in my phone. This therefor would not be okay for everyone, but as I'm using them they are both loud enough, and the sound is incredibly good. As far as ergonomics, I think these headphones are great as well. They are not too heavy, and the pads completely cover my ears. I have been able to use them for extended periods with my glasses on and they don't cause any pain or discomfort. Later on I plan to use these with a headphone amp. These are probably better with a good amp, but I can't say for sure at this point.

    Great flat even sound, wider than average soundstage, and comfortable long term listening.

    They're nice and flat, meaning of course that they are even across the whole sound spectrum. I like my sound more crisp in the highs and less boomy in the mid bass with stronger lower end bass. With a little bit of EQ these are excellent for that sort of setup. They also have a very complex sound stage where instruments or various sounds in a movie have the perception of being in different places.
