    Read it!

    Just a wonderful work by Joni. Tells the story of her life when she broke her neck, her time in the hospital, etc. Such a strong woman! I highly recommend this book to anyone seeking inspiration.

    Joni Eareckson Tada

    Joni is a very inspirational and thought-provoking book. In it Joni expresses her deepest feelings and thoughts as she endures the trial of her tragic accident leaving her a quadriplegic. She has a deep faith in God, but is honest about her initial outrage,despair,and feelings of helplessness. She finally surrenders her will to God, even in seeking healing,and it is a great source of encouragement and strength to those seeking to understand the Divine plan of God. I admire her very much for her honesty,courage,and humility. The book made me very thankful for my blessings-even simple things like touching,taking a walk,washing your own hair-she can't. I bought it for my sister in California who needs to know the Lord.

    Inspirational true story

    Joni overcame the huge hurdle of becoming a quadriplegic, after a diving accident as a teenager. She wrote candidly about her struggles to adjust to her new life and to deal with her depression and anger toward God. She ultimately found strength and emotional healing through the God she loved and had come to know in an intimate way. She eventually created a ministry to help other people with various handicaps, which has grown to be a world-wide effort.

    Joni is an incredible story about a brave young women, facing unimaginable trials. Joni finds purpose, calling, and joy despite her disability and has helped to show God's love to thousands of people. A must read for everyone! This book shows that there is truly hope even in the darkest times.

    Excellent book - A must read!

    Joni Eareckson Tada is an amazing woman. We all think our lives are difficult, but very few of us are paralized from our neck down for the last 30-35+ years. Joni tells how God has helped her deal with her disability. Her words in this book are extremely encouraging and is a must-read!
