A Horror Movie Fans DREAM!!! SAW is spectacular. The music, the atmosphere, the flashbacks, and Jigsaws voice. Everything about this movie will have your skin crawling and your blood boiling. SAW I is by far the creepiest film in the trilogy, and for a film that was shot over 18 days with no rehearsal time for the actors, this film delivers. SAW offers up a brilliant cast featuring the likes of Cary Elwes, Danny Glover, Dina Meyer, Michael Emerson, Tobin Bell, Monica Potter, Shawnee Smith, and Writer/Director Leigh Whannell. SAW offers constant tension from the very get go. It had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. It's hard to explain how incredible this film is without just saying you MUST SEE IT. Gruesome scenes, clever traps, awesome plot!
The movie itself, has great character. The roles played by the actors help elaborate Jigsaw's sadistic schemes. The whole movie was intricate and kept me on my feet because I didn't know what would happen next. I think this is by far, one of the best SAW movies, because the traps are so carefully done and the concept of the movie is just so different from others.

This is one of those movies that everyone has heard about but not everyone has seen. I had a certain level of quality I expected from the title, and it was only so-so, considering all the criticism of the so-called torture porn of the series. I can't speak for the sequels (yet) but this original film is an intelligent work, with many well-executed sequences and plot twists, with violence that is realisitc but not going to far and puzzles that don't feel too forced or inconceivable. The ending is great and unexpected, truly memorable and makes you think back through the whole movie in a new light.This is one of those movies that everyone has heard about but not everyone has seen. A great new tradition of horror terror torture
A new and insane story when two men wake up in a room chained with a dead body on the floor and the mystery and race against time begins when when the time hits from 11 pm to 6 am They will die they film is ever exciting in every way possible and you can't wait to see what happens next and the final is something you will always think genus

Suspensful, Well-Written Thriller
A great plot with a great script. Even without the violence (which I'm also a fan of) this would have been a great movie. The only area where this film fell short was acting. Some of it's just not quite believable. Plenty of twists and turns that get more and more elaborate and deep with each consecutive movie. Definitely in my favorites.
