    The best volume of this series!

    The photograph of Elvis Presley posing in his gold lame outfit is perhaps the most striking image of him throughout the decade of the 50s. It encapsulates everything that he brought to the forefront in American popular culture. This very same photo was used for a brilliant effect on the front cover of the 1959 album, "50,000,000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong-Elvis' Gold Records, Volume Two". Both the A and B sides of five singles appear on this album. The 10 songs included were all hits released between 1958 and '59. This album was also released while Elvis was stationed in the Army in Germany. In the summer of 1997, in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of Elvis' death, RCA reissued this compilation by upgrading it with 10 additional selections, bringing a total of 20 songs together (the ...
