Item was described as NEW, but the inside of the cardboard box was full of black mold and had to be discarded immediately. (Some of the mold can be seen coming through top edge of box in photo). I did not bother contacting the seller to complain since the two cabooses (sealed in vacuum formed plastic) were unharmed and were bought for a good price, I'm just disappointed that the seller wasn't more careful about the listing since water damage was apparent on outside of packaging. Caveat emptor!

You are absolutely right, I should have opened the box, but seeing a little dirt on the outside of the box, it didn't seem I had to, my bad.
