    JUDY AND CREW MAKE A WONDERFUL WESTERN STEW

    Forget about the plot - just enjoy the great Judy Garland heading up a cast of sure fire talents including John Hodiak, Virginia O'Brien, and Ray Bolger (and the irrepressible Majorie Main). The songs are terrific and the costumes and settings are full of imagination and western tang. So, get aboard THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA, AND THE SANTE FE and take a trip to a musical feast at THE HARVEY GIRLS.

    judy garlands best

    this is one of judy garlands best movies... it shows her great talents as a singer and dancer...a fun western/ musical that is a real gem. any one who is a fan of miss garland must have this in their collection...it has the atchison-topeka train song which is fabulous.. she did it in one take with no rehearsal...this also has a very young Angela lansbury in a role that is very different than you might expect...love this movie..

    The Harvey Girls

    Was really interested in the old movie which I had never seen as our AT&SF Depot in my home town had a Harvey House & Harvey Girls. Very fascinating Kansas history to me. I know they were eventually in other states as well, but it started in Kansas! :-)

    Fisticuffs, Giant Steaks, Romance...

    With all the dancing and action and colorful costumes, I think my grand children will enjoy this story. Never too young for "One Take Judy" and a great cast.
