Works for Martin Endpins
In case you are wondering (like I was), this model does fit and lock on Martin endpin jacks. Works well, but I would like to see/suggest a design improvement on the simple string attachment. It works, but it's prone to wear and it pulls on one narrow point on the strap hole. It would be great to have some sort of small leather (wider) strap connected to the lock, then up to your strap. Good idea, very poor design
My guitar has the type of jack that this is supposed to work on but the hole is too small and it doesn't fit. Even if it did fit, it is not secure at all and I certainly would not trust it. Hopefully someone comes up with something better in the near future. $15 is also ridiculous for a piece of plastic with strings. This is cheap piece of junk. Just ok!!
Not a bad ideal, didn’t work with a friends Taylor guitar with factory jack. Worked ok with my Martin with after market pickup. I ideal of this is good, but way too cheaply made. It’s a shame how many people get ripped off of $15 just because it’s more of a hassle to simply return something that unfortunately is going to do them no good. Like my buddy with the Taylor, he will never use it, and not sure how long mine will last and not sure if I will trust this thing holding my HD28V. I truly expected more from D’Addario and Company! I have been true to D’Addario and company for over 20 years, let’s improve the fit and strength some!!Not a bad ideal, didn’t work with a friends Taylor guitar with factory jack. A great product
I play several acoustic guitars. I use these cinch locks to secure the guitar strap at the bottom of the guitar. This purchase was for FISHMAN electronics, I play on Fender, Taylor and Yamaha guitars. I will use them on the guitars that they make the cinch lock for. D'Asdario should expand the line to cover more guitars

Great for acoustic guitars that have end pins for your strap and guitar plug in.
I was difficult to find a guitar strap that adapts to the Fishman guitar cable/end pin. It may take some time to see how it works over time. It seems secure at this point and I am anxious when standing over time and movement. There is not many options that I am aware and Planet Wave products have been good quality.
