    Adobe InDesign CS2 Classroom in a Book

    I purchased the Adobe InDesign CS2 Classroom In A Book by Adobe Creative Team (2005)because as a teacher of Desktop Publishing, Digital Imaging, and Graphic Design, I enjoy using the Classroom in a Book products. They offer so many different projects that a student can work on and learn from. I would give a higher rating, however, if they also provided more ON YOUR OWN projects and exercises. As it is, right now I provide extra assignments for my students to work on for more practice in the various options available with InDesign.

    Back to school with Adobe

    I have just barely started to learn the software. Like most Adobe software, there is a steep learning curve. This book is thick, almost like a phone book. It is best to read and then refer to this book with you computer up and running this software. It will be of great help. With this book came a CD, it contains a lot of very useful information to help you learn the software. This software is the more complex and elaborate version of Adobe's other Desktop Publishing software called PageMaker. Where PageMaker has limits that don't exist in InDesign. This is the software if you ever wanted to self - publish that great American novel you always wanted to write ! Add in ...

    Great classroom type book with clear directions.

    Clear directions with examples. Great book to accompany you in your study of Adobe InDesign. Decide it to buy it since I already purchased the Adobe CS2 software and wanted a book that will clearly explain how to use the many possibilities of this great software.
