While thumbing through travel brochures, planning his next vacation, Porky Pig falls asleep. Instead of drifting away in blissful slumber, Porky's nightmares take him to Dry Gulch Creek Haunted Theme Park. Immersed physically in his own dreams, the famous stuttering cartoon pig must traverse six scary worlds, including the Haunted Woods, Dry Gulch Ghost Town and the lost city of Atlantis. In each world, Porky is confronted by a host of creatures and obstacles that go along with the respective themes, such as ghosts, prisoners, trains, owls, tumbleweeds and fish.<br><br>Porky's primary method of attack is hopping on top of whatever gets in his way. Once he picks up a fruit bowl, he can throw fruit at enemies. He spends much of his in this game time walking and jumping, but certain levels require Porky to ride a raft, climb trees, glide through the air, float on underwater bubbles and perform an assortment of other stunts. Weather conditions such as snow, rain and fog will hinder his progress. A special Chaos Mapping System changes the weather each time you play the game.<br><br>Each level has a boss at the end. Porky will have to perform special maneuvers not found in the standard gameplay to defeat these villains. For example, when confronted by Yosemite Sam, Porky must deflect his bullets with a frying pan. Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday is for one player and offers three levels of difficulty: easy, normal and hard.

This game is fairly good and has great features, the music is a bit awkward, but tolerable. This game I would say is great for collectors and those that grew up with it. Great game for what its worth.

Great fun. One of the better looking/playing SNES games.
Fun Platformer featuring Porky Pig. The instructions say you can throw things at enemies. Been playing for hours haven't been able to throw a single thing. You defeat enemies by hopping on top of them. The Pros: Stunning 16 bit graphics with parallax scrolling backgrounds. And top notch animation. Each map (level) changes between the 4 seasons. So it may be different every time you play. Spot on control. The Cons: No save or password function. Some or all the games are made in Mexico (not Japan) and have cheap labels on the cart and or black and white instruction books.Fun Platformer featuring Porky Pig. Great vintage game
Ive never even played this game, bought because I collect games. Made in Mexico and has a green label on back. Seems rare, only other green label I know of is Earthbound.
