    This thing is wicked fast.

    The intel core i5-6500 processor sports 4 powerful physical cores at a high clock speeds. The sky lake architecture from intel also means better performance than that of its predecessors while consuming less power.

    Powerful, capable, and affordable processor.

    This was an excellent and easily affordable upgrade for my Core i3-6100. This is still a relevant and highly capable processor, even though it is several generations old. Any one who has an older Intel socket 1151 motherboard with a ANY Core i3 or 2nd through 5th gen Core i5 would benefit from getting this processor.

    Great CPU for kid minecraft PC

    Skylake i5 6500 is still a fine chip for many purposes. I got it for my kid’s computer which is used mainly for minecraft java edition on Ubuntu. Plays smoothly and beautifully at max settings in the game and does shaders well with a budget tier Nvidia card. Perfect.

    Great cpu for the price. All you need

    I paired this with my friends 1060 gtx and it does a steady 60 fps in 1080p and also plays decent in 1440p too. Honestly this cpu is all you need paired with a 1060 gtx or similar card. I will buy again.
