One thing I learned and you need to know
This fit my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Quad Cab 2WD like a glove. It was very easy to install but basic mechanical experience recommended. The one thing I did not know and quickly learned that I'd like to pass on to anyone replacing their's, if you buying a used overhead console with the compass / computer as shown here, you will need to know how to reset the new one and re-program it to enter all the pertinent information from your old one. The new used one will contain the mileage of the old vehicle it came out of. The compass will be calibrated to the position it was in when removed from the old vehicle, ect... You will need to enter your vehicles mileage, calibrate the compass and everything else. I could not find how to do this anywhere online. I'm sure these instructions are out ... Worked as I needed it too
I couldn't use the digital part as it was missing the bulbs and their holders. Luckily I wanted it for the surround so I used my old one. Otherwise it was in good shape and as advertised
