    one to many trips to the well

    Grandpa always said you've made to many trips to the well when your bucket starts coming up full of mud. The Miles Vorkosigan Series is without a doubt my favorite series, and Gentleman Jole and the Red Queen is without a doubt the worst book in that series. Fans of Mrs. Bujold will be bitterly disappointed in this, one can only say, drivel. Characters switch sexualities from homo to hetro to some weird amalgamation of the two quicker than the reader can say 'what the Hell?' Plot is thin to nonexistent. This reviewer is left to wonder if Mrs. Bujold desperately needed money or if she truly felt this steaming pile of dung was a worthy conclusion to the best space opera ever written. Fans of the Miles Vorkosigan Series should NOT read this book, it will only bring you pain. You have been ...

    Cordelia returns!

    My favorite LMB character is Cordelia Naismith, who returns triumphantly as Vicereinne of Sergyar, where she first met Aral so many years ago. Now she may have a second chance at happiness, and to explore that genetic greed she experienced so long ago on Barrayar.

    Exlibrary book!

    Withdrawn from library-- has the typical library build, almost bombproof. The story is pure McMaster Bujold. She's telling a story based on characters and incidents in other books, and using it to explore in several directions. Decent stories with the usual depth. Good book; fits in well with the others.
