    W.C. Fields short comedies. Highly recommended!

    cleaned up footage and remastered dvd. Very sharp and clear with closed captioning to be able to understand Fields sometimes mumbled speech. A masterpiece of short comedy sketches by a forgotten master. Sad that very few people remember him today. A+

    Why waste my time on this review crap! Who does it help

    Certainly a great addition to any film buff's collection! The films have been beautifully restored. Fields, of course, needs no review. He's just plain funny! That's about all I have to say, and I wouldn't have had to say more than the first sentence if it hadn't been for the fact that eBay demands 100 words minimum for a review! Now I'm sorry I got this whole thing started, but I don't know enough about computers to exit this section without writing 100 words.

    Fields plays the same character in most of the films. The hen=pecked, simple-minded, sarcastic underdog.
