    Works but can be confusing, default password is 1234 not 0000

    The product is great and works well. One thing to point out is It connects to your original Wi-Fi and makes a separate connection that you name and set a separate password. The directions are a little confusing and brief, my advice is to go on YouTube and type in the product and you will find a step by step video. The default password provides was not correct for me, it was 1234. Hope this helps

    Not even sure if it works

    My current wifi just barely reaches my pool area. Very weak, if even at all. I was hoping this would be a cheap solution. First you are instructed to place it close to the router. How can that work? Shouldn't it be at the edge of the coverage to extend it further?Then i go out to the pool and I still don't get any better signal and sometimes none at all. I cant even tell if its doing anything at all. The only reason i gave it stars is that it was cheap and it might work in a different location, but I have not tested it.

    Hit or miss

    This has the potential to be awesome!! Key word "potential". It is an odd size and shape causing the weight to distribute off center and easily lose contact with the outlet. It also has issues talking to my existing router and one minute it is working fine and the next ten minutes it is off line, causing issues if you are feeding off that signal and not the main wifi. Only used it for a couple days and maybe it just takes time to get it set up right. I'll let you know if it gets any better.

    ZyXel WiFi extender

    My experience is that this device will not setup when using the included instructions. Must contact rep to get proper setup instructions. It also appears that the device operates in conflict with my WiFi point and that connection fails and requires reboot of the iPad/iPhone to get to properly logon to wifi. Based on my experience, I would not recommend the purchase of this device.

    ZyXEL WRE2205 IEEE 802.11n 300 Mbit/s Wireless Range Extender

    I am pleasantly pleased with this Wi-Fi extender. I could not get my laptop/wireless printer to work because I am located about 50 feet diagonally (with walls) from my Router. The extender was easy to set up and is now located in a socket about 15 feet from my office still through one wall. The wireless printer set up immediately and the price was well worth it. I have Linksys Router and the setup only required me to press the WPS button on the front of the ZyXEL near the router for a couple of seconds; waited a couple of minutes and was up and running. I would definitely recommend it and the price was reasonable.
