Its low pass crossover and variable phase control allow the unit to blend with a variety of other speaker types. This exceptional subwoofer's low-pass crossover is variable from 40 Hz to 150 Hz, and the model has a bypass control. It also has a volume control and a phase adjustment that is switchable from 0 to 100 degrees. Since this Klipsch product is easy to connect and fine tune, you are sure to hear the boom within minutes after you hook it up, especially enjoying the output and weight that this piece of audio equipment adds to rock music. The built-in Class D digital amplifier has an efficiency rate of 85 percent or higher, which prevents your stereo system from losing output to heat. Among subwoofers, the Klipsch SW-450 is popular with both audiophiles and general music fans. It handles 200 watts of nominal power with momentary bursts of 450 watts. If the unit is placed within a few feet of the listener, then less power is needed. The frequency response ranges from 28 Hz to 120 Hz while its sensitivity measures at 115 dB. The unit's high-excursion driver keeps the bass thumping and the sonic distortion to a minimum. When used with Klipsch speakers, this subwoofer functions instinctively. Likewise, it performs flawlessly with most other speakers regardless of the brand. This deep, narrow subwoofer by Klipsch is sleek in design and looks good with your other electronics. It's a floorstanding model that rests on claw-like feet. With a black vinyl finish, the case adds a modern touch to your decor. It measures 14 inches wide, 19.5 inches deep, and 17 inches high. At 35.5 pounds, the unit is mobile. It is rear-ported for bass reflex and provides both high- and low-level inputs. Through gold-plated, five-way binding posts, high-level inputs are emitted while low-level inputs are given through RCA jacks. One of the RCA jacks may be utilized for an LFE signal. The SW-450 has a down-firing woofer that comes equipped with a durable, lightweight fiber-composite cone. The woofer is 10 inches in size and puts out a lot of low-frequency vibrations.       Excellent Bass

      This turned out to be too much for the application. Keeping the volume down obviously solves this problem but the SW-350 would have been more than enough after repairing a used one. But it is nice to have the extra kick when needed. Both models work well with each other, filling in any gaps be it volume or tone. You will not be disappointed.
