    Charming, well executed mystery series...a great Miss Marple

    High production level, with gorgeous set design, beautiful costumes and lush scenery. The writing, acting and editing are very well done. The mood of each mystery is nicely set; lots of "red herrings" and surprises. All in all, these stories are most entertaining, suspenseful and quite charming. I really like this Miss Marple as played by Julia McKenzie.

    This is for those who search for the title of each episode Series 5 = The Secret of Chimneys, The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side, The Blue Geranium comes with a Bonus program, Agatha Christie's Garden. I cannot understand why most of the time they want give a list of each episode. Agatha Christie series 5 is like all the rest of her Dvd's wonderful. She is and always will be #1 to me in mystery writing. Even with the little changes made in different series, each one is great.

    Does not contain all episodes from Marple, Series 5 but still a good value.

    This set contains 4 disks - 3 episodes from Marple, Series 5 - The Secret of Chimneys, The Blue Geranium and The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side. The 4th disk is a tour of the garden at Agatha Christie's home. I was disappointed to find that it does not include the first episode of Series 5 from 30 August 2010, The Pale Horse and so I indicated that I wanted to return it. However, I later decided to just keep the set because the price I paid was acceptable even though I did not get what I wanted and expected to receive.

    Who Dunnit?

    Agatha Christie is the imminent writer of murder mysteries and Julia McKenzie a truly gifted actress. Throw in a brilliant, star-spangled supporting cast, spectacular directing as well as fabulous script writing and you have a recipe for binge-watching entertainment. There are not enough superlatives to describe how wonderful this series is. I am so very pleased with my purchase!

    Agatha Christie

    I've been a Christie fan for decades and these three mysteries are among her best ..Julia McKenzie is a wonderful miss Marple ( though Joan Hickson is my personal favorite) and the guest actors all deliver credible character performances..I enjoyed it all very much!
