About this product

Product Information

This important new book creates new terms for thinking about gender and generational relationships. In so doing it recasts conventional understandings of the family as an institution for organizing labour and consumption. Delphy and Leonard present their wide-ranging theoretical discussion alongside a comparative study of the family in urban and rural areas. Theoretical innovation is consistently matched by empirical analysis of the family in diverse settings.

I buy from this seller all the time and believe them to be the best of the BIG second-hand UK sellers. Comms are excellent and they respond quickly and make a real effort to resolve issues. Pricing is good and descriptions accurate and fair. Postage is free so there won't be any extra packing but I've never had a problem with items damaged in transit.

The book arrived in perfect condition well packaged. It was a couple of days later than promised but I think this was a PO problem rather than the seller. A good price and as described. When the seller was contacted as the book had not arrived they immediately replied - could not fault. Would use this seller again.
