    Good print quality, decent color prints

    It' seems a bit light in the build, time will tell on that. But it works well, connects easily and produces good prints with reasonable speed. We've owned (and used up) several earlier pixma printers, and we don't usually look for an all-in-one, but this came at a fair price. Sometimes it's nice to use it for a copy or two. Third party ink is available, but not super-cheap yet, unlike the older pixma models where third-party ink is almost free.

    SOPHISTICATED & COMPACT

    It's a compact & sophisticated machine. With my Mac OS, the online set-up worked just fine. It prints fast & quietly and the large touch screen does the job without having to use any physical buttons. Go for it!

    Works Well For Me

    Printed on a DVD with no problem. It prints a bit faster than my old Canon printer (probably because it starts printing faster than the old printer more than actual print speed). So far, no problems encountered with this new printer. It came with what appear to be normal ink cartridges (rather than starter cartridges). I'm happy with this printer.

    NIce Printer

    This printer does everything I need in a printer. Printers in this price range don't have a super long life and I know in the near future I'll need another and Canon will be the brand I choose. The only thing I wish is that Canon wouldn't change them thus forcing me to have to learn how to operate the new model.
