        Ge the primer shel holder with the groove in its circumference.

        This new primer shell holder #19 is NOT the same as the old #19 shell holder or the number 6 shell holder for the Lee Priming tool, as regards seating primers in 9mm Luger cases. The old #6 and #19 shell holders had too much slop in them between the top of the 9mm case and the top of the shell holders: at least almost 1/8" which would not allow the primer to seat to its proper depth. The new #19 shell holder I just purchased has a groove cut around its circumference: the fit for the 9mm cartridge case is nice and snug, and the 9mm primers now seat correctly! (There is a tool Lee sells to properly fit primers, but it is time consuming and another procedure)

        Poor number stamping

        This is a No 19 shell holder for the Lee auto bench prime. The stamped number is light and the 1 is above and far left of the 9. The 9 looks more like a 3. It makes it difficult to quickly identify the shell holder from others. Their QC should take a hit on this. I may contact them and ask for a replacement.
