      Mostly very good

      Haven't had them for long, but so far so good. They have great sound and are surprisingly loud, with decent bass range. I don't even need them loud, I'm just sayin'. They are a little limited in how many ways you can attach them to your sound source, so be aware of that. I also didn't measure their size accurately, and they are a little deep for my desk. They look way sexier in person than the stock photos as well.

      Great Little Speakers

      I had a pair of 8 inch M Audio monitors. My studio is about 25 x 25 and the 8's were overbearing for the room. I was a bit concerned that these would be too small. But they are not. Monitoring and mixing with these is a pleasure (I do have an 10 inch YAMAHA sub woofer as well). The stereo imaging of these speakers is amazing and if you want to really hear the low end, compliment them with a quality subwoofer. I would definitely recommend these speakers to a friend. Jim

      JBL LSR305 Active Studio Monitors

      The JBL LSR305 monitors have an excellent quality to them straight out of the box and for a a very affordable price! With their sleek, black design and 5 inch woofers, the LSR305s deliver crystal clear sound at high volumes while retaining all of the characteristics you want to hear in your media. The LSR305s easily achieve comfortable listening volumes and they are integrated seemlessly into my workspace. The compact size is a bonus as you get huge sound out of a smaller monitor. I believe the LSR305s would make a great addition to nearly any setup.

      Excellent sound quality speaker.

      I don't DJ or record singing sessions with these speakers. I purchased these because I wanted a full range amplified speaker with the best sound quality reproduction without breaking the bank. These reproduce music just how the artist intended to be heard. Very well balanced tones. I've heard so many new details in my music with these speakers.

      All good but...

      Nice system. Easy to use and set up. Good sound for ambient music or speech in small audience. Unfortunately, carrying the mixer-speakers-unit thing and walking with it will cause the speakers to come off. They just pop off and fall off causing them to crash on the floor... That is kind of a big issue for a portable system! I'll find a way to fix this issue but this should not be the case when buying JBL equipment. I expect flawless product design from this brand. I bought it cheaper on ebay so I am OK with it but I would be pissed off if I had paid full price for it ;)
