    The Miniatures for D&D

    I tried the game itself and it's pretty good, but the miniatures that come with this game are nearly prefect for budget miniatures if you're playing D&D. They are VERY durable and could be painted if you primed then. The bases are a bit big for the 1" Battlemat squares but I fixed that by CAREFULLY using a 1" hole saw drill bit without an auger and a Dremel. The alterations do not prevent you from playing the original game either, though they do make the minis a bit more unstable.

    Beggars can't be choosers

    If you like PLANESWALKERS then this is a must because there is not enough product made for the game. It gives you 2 new PLANESWALKERS but not enough cards to support them without borrowing from the base game. I would rather have had cards that directly supported them instead of 3 cards of each color. The extra units are nice to have for your base game and helps to bring your armies up to 600 points. I don't know if any more than this and INNISTRAD are ever going to be released so if you like the game buy this weak but needed expansion.

    Good bang for the buck.

    As far as far as expansion packs go it's not a bad deal if you're in Arena of the Planeswalker fan then it's definitely a must-have because of the miniatures and even if you're not a planeswalker fan then you can use the minis for your normal role playing tabletop games and you're not going to find a better bargain than that the Miniatures are pretty well sculpted and they vary in different styles of creatures so all in all I'd give this product an A+.
