Das Aten CS692 ist ein Switch von KVM. Diese Lösung erlaubt es dem Nutzer zwei Computer mit nur einer Maus, Tastatur und einem Bildschirm zu steuern. Die Bedienung erfolgt dabei komfortabel an der Tastatur oder mit Tastern direkt über die Kabelfernbedienung des CS692. Für den Anschluss von Peripheriegeräten stehen dem Nutzer zwei USB-Buchsen und ein HDMI-Anschluss zur Verfügung. Die beiden Computer werden mittels KVM-Kabel mit dem Switch verbunden. Dieses Kabel stellt jeweils einen HDMI-Anschluss und einen USB-Anschluss für die Rechner zur Verfügung.
