    Awesome LSI card

    Awesome card. I am using one splitter cords to serve 4 drives. I plan to add a second splitter cord so I can expand to 8 drives. I get all the speed from my shucked 8tb wd easy stores can provide. Can't complain. Didn't need to flash the card. Came in IT mode as the listing states. Price was right too! Was shipped on time. Buy it. You won't regret it.

    Dead after two weeks of use

    Shortly after deploying the card in a home NAS solution with 4 x 8TB WD Red Pro drives, the card stopped working. I managed to setup RAID 1, install Arch Linux and setup FTP. Used that setup for two weeks but then card gave in. I tried using different drives, different computers, but couldn't get it to work.

    Picked up 2, have had zero issues

    Originally bought one which i was using without issue and when i finally ran out of connections i picked up a second and with both installed i've got enough ports for my needs in this case. Using UnRaid and they were already in IT mode so plug-n-play worked without a hitch. Would recommend.

    Solid, stable performer.

    Very solid piece of hit. Very stable and plenty fast enough for spinning hard drives. I've had no problems in my Proxmox server - it was recognised with no issues and has just worked. Much better than crappy RAID cards I had in the past.

    Works plug and play with TrueNas Core. Very fast shipping.

    Product works plug and play with freenas core and I saw clear performance improvements with WD Red 6TB disks versus using on board sata controller from z77 chipset with 2600k. Screws are a bit tight when having to change the bracket, but it only requires the right screwdriver.
