It was packed, double packed and surrounded with packing peanuts for shipping safety. The ship time was great. Between the cost of the item and shipping added in, it was still on average, or a tiny bit less, than local antique malls, a great value. I'm heading back to this 'store' to hopefully find a few more items to complete some sets. From my one-time experience, you should have no concerns whatsoever buying from this seller.
