      Sound improved

      Bought to replace an older, and malfunctioning, Monster power conditioner. The sound quality was immediately noticeable. For non audiophile people “most people” it made the sound louder or more forceful. That is due to the fact that it constantly supplies full power to the amps. It also improved the background noise “or should I say lack there of”. The filtering technology of this unit is simply superlative. The unit has two little led light lamps that can be pulled out to illuminate components below it. Due to my placement of the conditioner on the bottom they are not very helpfull because they do not rotate so the lights point up. I did not buy this for a home theater so I can not say if The Furman will improve picture quality but I would imagine that it does. I recommend buying ...

      Excellent performance and protection!

      Prior to purchasing the Furman elite my power amplifier would constantly trip my “normal” surge protector , this was extremely irritating! Now with the elite PF20 I can now push my system to the limit without any issue whatsoever , the product does exactly what it is supposed to do. I also noticed that for the same volume level the sound is actually louder and cleaner too.

      It made my already-awesome stereo system sound tremendously better

      Adding this to my stereo system made it sound tremendously better. Better imaging, including at singer's head level, more musical bass, more balance throughout the bass, midrange and tweeters, and eliminated some distortion that still nagged my system before installation of this. More "air" overall.

      Furman Elite 20-PFi Ultra Linear AC Power Source

      The truly linear filtering in this unit is on par with their Reference series, this is the only Elite achieving that. Use of this 20A unit on a 15A circuit ensures safety to the max. We were hit by lightning and learned the ugly truth about Panamax, Monster, and Tripp Lite. Only the Belkin wall surge suppressor and the Cyberpower units saved computers and appliances. Now Furman is my new best, sound is clear and instrument separation is amazing in our living room Marantz receiver system.

      Great product, accomplishes more than expected.

      Sound detail is more atmospheric in delivery since the addition of the Furman PFI 20 to my sound system. I’m hearing more detail than ever. In addition, my amplifiers are not wanting for power, that was my original goal. The rest is icing on the cake.
