        Nice product. Even better value if you buy a good condition used one.

        Very good solid product. Turn knob rotates very smoothly. This product is not as sleek as the Kwikset because it uses the turn knob and is not motorized. Easy to install. However, make sure you write down the programming code from label inside lock first before installing because you'll need to do factory reset and clear out all the existing user codes if you bought this used on eBay. Also, if you bought it new, you would need programming code to put in new user codes. I wish Schlage offered a smart key re-key feature like with Kwikset so we can carry one less key.

        No more keys

        I have converted all my locks now and really like the idea of not having a key ring full of keys. With the lighted key pad it is very easy to see after dark. Great for children after school to get inside. With ease of changing the combination you can program a number that your children can remember. You do have to change the battery once a year which is very easy to do.

        Don't Leave Home Without it.

        I have previously purchased three of these. Great quality, easy to use, and installs directly into an existing deadbolt. The lighted buttons and easy grip knob have made this a wonderful item for my father who has Parkinson's. Prior to installing this, my dad would simply not lock his door because it was difficult for him to use a key to unlock it. This keyless deadbolt was the perfect solution.

        Never Change a Lock Again

        This is the third of this product I purchased for my home. I had one on my front and back door. Now that I have my tools in my garage, I put one there also. My son has a habit of losing keys so this is the perfect solution. If there is ever a compromise you can always change the combination rather having to buy another lock. It is a quality product and you have easy access to the battery if it requires a change. You also have a key that can be used if your battery would go out and you had no other access to get in. I am very pleased with my purchase. It is a high quality item and has a nice appearance. You can also use it's illumination at night by pressing the keys.
