Found no cons with this product. Have found numerous pro's. It is solidly built , solid mounting hardware adaptable to any mounting need, not just the single bolt mentioned. Comes in two different lengths Can if need be shortened to fit need. Not to mention the price is real affordable. AK4MW

The L-Bracket did not fit my 2017 Ford F-250. It required some cutting, grinding, and bending to fit. The lower plastic fitting was cracked and unusable. The mount did not match up with my Kenwood TM-D710G. The Aluminum support rod and plastic covering was high quality. I ended up discarding the lower plastic fitting and drilling two holes in the aluminum rod to connect to the modified L-Bracket. For the most part does what it was designed for
Built like a tank. Quality components. Needs a better way to mount specific radios. My Kenwood D700 mounts on the bottom of the head not the back like some radios which makes mine face down. Overall I would (and am) buying another for my other car. I think it is a little overpriced for what you get.

This mount is fine but to install the adapter for the radio head you will need to drill some holes and find the right length screws and nuts. Still worth the money as the next type selling on eBay is $39

so simple i could do it.
