So far so good
The cables that connects the battery to the connector are very long which makes it get tricky to fit the battery in. Also, I had to disconnect and reconnect the battery after the first use/charge because the computer couldn't recognize it for some reason and I had to reset the battery multiple times to make it work. It's working fine now but lost 100mAh of it's capacity immediately. Revived a “dead” mac for only $50!
My dad loves his early 2013 MacBook Pro. But the battery had totally crapped out after 6+ years of constant use. He took that as a sign that he should upgrade and bought a 2019 MBP, but never liked it. I got fed up with him pining after his old mac so I bought this battery and installed it in minutes, now he can use his favorite mac again! Sad that we let him spend thousands last year when a $50 battery was all he needed! My dad loves his early 2013 MacBook Pro. But the battery had totally crapped out after 6+ years of constant use.
