Good vs bad
I love the maybelline forever metallics lipstick line. Everytime I find a new shade of color that I must have I immediately try to find it in this line. The lipstick is very lightweight, but still vibrant, and rich in color. Once it dries, it stays on, and doesn't come off on kisses or collars, but is still easy to wash/wipe off, and doesn't dry out your lips. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE these lipsticks, and can not figure for the life of me why they are discontinued. My only complaint would be that the alloy red is not very red like it is in the picture. It is more of a reddish tinted pink. I was looking for something like a candy apple red, and this is not it.I love the maybelline forever metallics lipstick line. Don't purchase.... not the chestnut matte lipstick you fell in love with
I bought this lipstick because it's no longer made. This was my FAVORITE color and brand of lipstick even though I'm faithful to my baremineral makeup. I purchased this thinking it was the "one and only maybelline Chestnut matte lipstick" but it wasn't. I will no longer look for it, but I've found someting I did like at Sephora and it even feels better!!

Too bad it's discontinued...why drop a good thing?
I always have a hard time finding lipstick that looks good on me and when I do it usually isn't around long. This is a fabulous color for those who don't like to wear bold colors. It gives a bit of shine and the colors lasts. Wish Maybelline would have kept it around!

Finding Discontinued Lip Color
I bought this lip color because I saw it on my friend and I really liked it. The color had been discontinued, so checking on Ebay was probably my only choice for finding it. I found and received it very promptly. I am very happy with the purchase. The color is perfect. If you want a discontinued item, Ebay is the place to look for it.
