    "Fictional yet real"

    I have read this book, in fact the whole series, several times over. I learn something new each time. I can relate to the women in this book even though fictional, particularly the main character, Jodi Baxter. I love the humor and the friendships these women have formed. This book shows the triumphs and struggles of several women and how, through God's grace, other believers and prayer have come through each problem. They also share one another's joys and sorrows. This book has been a springboard to forming our own Yada Yada Prayer group. I purchased these books to give to friends to enjoy, I have my own copy, and have done so at other times. Excellent reading! Love the author also. She's a people person and I guess that's why she writes with the heart that she does. I totally ...

    Good Christian Read, but too predictable.

    This Christian book is a light easy read. The author's style makes the characters come alive quite believably. The story surrounds a group of women who meet at a women's Christian conference and are randomly placed together in a prayer group. They are as diverse in ethnicity and financial standing as they are in religious upbringing. This seems to bring them together more than separate them and just as the conference is ending, a crisis for one of the group members causes them to choose to continue to meet. I really liked the characters and the story line. What I didn't like, and why I rated it only Good, is the fact that is was too predictable, a mistake I often find in Christian literature.     the yada yada prayer group

    it was a great book about women from different cultures and belief practices who come together at a christian conference, are asked to pray as a group each morning and evening of the conference. due to a crisis of one of the women, they draw together at the conference and continue to stay together outside the conference arena, in their metro area. the book takes you through different events and faith levels throughout the year of these women and leaves you with the desire to know more... to read the next book available in the series...

    I LOVE this book...

    I picked this up at a local thrift store not actually knowing a thing about it. It will totally draw you into the book. I found myself setting for hours reading it, not able to find a good "stopping point". This book is #1 in a series, of which I'm only now on #2, and it is just as captivating. This is a must have book for Christian book lovers!

    LOVE,LOVE, LOVE this series. I can really relate to the characters and feel like I know most of them. I can picture several of my friends as being these people. Very encouraging and well written.
