Great sound and duration for the money!
This is a great and easy to use bluetooth speaker. Any speaker benefits from being placed in a corner and this JBL is a good/loud speaker in the open / bass monster in a corner (try it and you can instantly hear the difference). I have read many complaints about the battery life but there are many considerations. If you play your music out of your phone, stock without modifications @ 60% volume or less you can get the advertised hours (normal expectation out of any bluetooth speaker I have owned). I play mine with the bass boosted at around 90% and get around 5-6 hours but understand I am asking a lot out of the speaker. When I play music out of my Harman/kardon Studio 2 under the same parameters I get around 45min at best (significantly smaller battery). Both bluetooth speakers mentioned ... This is a great and easy to use bluetooth speaker. The JBL charges really fast but plugging in the charger is a wee bit tough around the zipper opening (it binds and can prevent full contact at times). The JBL has received light rain and water speckling from a sink with no problems, I have not allowed it to endure further. The carry strap is very convenient for hanging the speaker in unique place or simply carrying it when your hands are full (around your neck) I would easily purchase this speaker again without hesitation and it is worth every penny.

Great portable bluetooth speaker
The JBL Extreme wireless, bluetooth and portable speaker is a great buy. I like the sound quality coming out of the speakers, very deep bass and very nice high and mid-range tones. I enjoyed listening to a variety of music, except for selections that have very deep bass as it rattles the speaker. I recommend this speaker, there are great deals in ebay or Amazon.

Had the old model upgraded to the newer model. Man this thing made a big difference with the input, output clip sensor. Awesome amp. For being a low budget amp.

Took a chance buying a used one.
I recommend if you are considering spending this amount of money buy a new unit. I ended up with one not holding the charge the loops to return it. It's not worth the money.... BS...
