Has its quirks but printing costs are reasonable.
Worked great for the first year or so then more and more started to get the error message "warming up". After a while this error message would stay on all the time and wouldn't go away. I did some reading on some do-it-yourself sites and this seems to be a common HP AIO problem. I ended up having to take the scanner apart and cleaning the scanner lighting assembly and the under side of the scanner glass. After doing both the scanner started working again. Other than this problem. I don't really care for the placement of the phone line in and phone line out jacks (they are at a 45 degree angle and in an odd spot). If you have it sitting on your desk you pretty much have to pick the machine up and turn it around facing you to plug the phone lines in (if you don't have a dedicated fax ... Excellent choice for all-around printing!
This is a reliable printer, copier, scanner and fax machine all in one! We've had ours for about three years and we love the small footprint compared to all the various machines in our office it replaced. The color printer and scanner produce photo quality. Cartidges are reasonably priced as compared to others and last a long time. I love that it is plug and play--so easy and versatile for a home office no matter how many times you upgrade computers!This is a reliable printer, copier, scanner and fax machine all in one! Great piece of equipment
I do not at all find it difficult to plug into the telephone lines. It is very easy to change the cartridges and it prints photo beautifully. If you just need a quick print of a document.....great. If you just need a quick scan of a document or picture......great. It is an all around workhorse and lasts a long time. Hope this helps.

950: an excellent durable printer
The 950 has nearly twice the ink capacity of most printers and although it may not be as fast as newer ones it is quieter and funtions well in high volume daily useage. Reviews in this area should be in reference to the printer not (as some would) to review the seller or their quality of service. Pleas keep that in mind when reviewing a product
