  • Excellent Vintage Tone That Plays Well In Any Context

Duncan Antiquity I pickups have long been part of my top three most recommended sets for Jazzmaster. They're consistent from set to set and almost tonally identical to my favorite era of pickup for the model (1958-1964). • Great sounding Jazzmaster Pickup

This is a serious upgrade for any modern Jazzmaster if you are looking for more traditional vintage JM tones. I’ve owned a few newer JMs, but finally decided to try the famed SD Antiquity ll. It did my MIM Blacktop wonders. I thought it sounded great before, but this pickup is fantastic. Plenty of meat and potatoes with all the chime when you want it.

  • Warmer tone for the Jazzmaster

This pickup has great tone, not quite as bright as the Alnico V models, a little bit "smoother".
