    Tape head demagnetizer

    It works well, but great value it is not. Things like this used to be sold in brick and mortar stores like Radio Shack and even Sears. Now, with the extinction of such places, it is such an esoteric item that online is about the only option for us old analog heads. After shipping, it is a marginal deal at best, but every owner of a reel to reel or cassette deck should own one or two of these.

    Good price, but....

    Wish I could give this 5 stars, nice design with rubber protected tip at a reasonable price. Seemed to work on my cassette player heads, but was completely ineffective when I attempted to demagnetize a screwdriver so now I must wonder if it actually does what it says. ????

    All-around very nice degausser

    I like everything about this degausser. The body of the unit is a convenient shape to hold while in use, the cord is long and very flexible so it doesn't influence how you hold the unit, and contrary to the warnings the unit does not heat up quickly at all, so you don't feel like you must rush through the task of degaussing heads and capstan(s).
