Don't worry...
Many people happy with DW9000 pedal. Good thing is to compare with some another known brand. Before purchasing this pedal I used Yamaha Direct drive double pedal. I wasn't happy for 100% but after truing DW9000 I realized that I never find better pedal than Yamaha Direct Drive. It is too long to describe something. As soon I hooked DW to Bass Drum I realized that Yamaha's clip works much better. No movement of Bass drum. Berring system better on Yamaha. Ajustements much easier and more advanced. Another disaster was a Trick Pedal. I tell about this some other time. Sorry if I disappointed somebody. There is a good pedal somewhere for everybody.Many people happy with DW9000 pedal. SMOOTH
Freah our the box no tweaking of this pedal. It is already shown to be extremely smooth! I had a speed cobra 910 and it never really felt like my natural foot. It felt "Assisted" which in theory it was. But with this DW 9000 XF it's all natural mechanics! Enjoy ladies and Gentlemen!

Love this pedal, I own the 9002 double pedal and the single 9000 pedal. Went from a Trick pedal to the XF DW Long board pedal. Cant say enough about this product.
