    My Colorado Canyon Automatic Retractable Running Boards

    I waited several months after buying my truck before AMP started building the running boards that would fit it. Everything arrived in one long box. The kit I purchased was one of the first ones made and had some wrong size button head bolts. I called the factory and they immediately sent the correct size ones which arrived the next day. A template is supplied for drilling the holes for the bolts that support the step linkages. There are 4 nice LED lights that attach to the rocker panel surface and come on when the steps go down. I did not have to cut into any wiring harness. Two purple trigger wires are run up through an existing plastic floor plug. They are run to the OBD II port where a Plug and Play plug connects everything. My truck has the diesel engine and the wires that attach ...
