    Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood is still the leader of the pack.

    This is the best hard shaving soap that I've ever used. My previous go to brand was Tabac (also an excellent choice). The Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood is a little better in terms of closeness, smoothness and best protection against nicks. It is pricey, but you'll be surprised at how little is needed on your shaving brush to generate a great lather. I highly recommend this product.

    Wonderful fragrance and a good value

    This product has a wonderful sandalwood fragrance. I would recommend placing plastic wrap or another cover over the soap when not in use, as the oils will dry out over time. Also, I would have given it five stars, but I have found the lather dries out sometimes a little too quickly while I'm shaving.
