One thing to remember is you need a gas stove to heat this on. I have an induction and it did not work so I purchased an infrared burner. I at first wanted to return for this reason stated above, but he did give me a small refund which helped! Nice seller

Make sure the 2 jamb nuts that hold the glass cover on are tight after warm up the slide door ifs firmly seated befor you roast. Dont leave the process unattended and end up with a mess. A low flame and abot maybe 15 minures and you actually can hear the first and second crack Dont place the roaster on a solid surface that resonates like metal or burns like wood or you nice countertop. I used a bright LED light and held it over the cage to see the color.
