    do it right and get the tool

    A little pricey but if you want to do it right the first time its worth the investment. This pump seal was the original, 17 years old and did not want to come out. The tool worked but was a struggle.

    Hard to find tool

    Very hard to find tool being only dealerships get these. Took all the anxiety out of replacing the mechanical seal from the water pump without damaging the rod. Worked as it should.
