Seagate Barracuda ist eine interne 3,5 Zoll Festplatte, kurz HDD. Benötigt wird ein freier SATA Platz mit 3 Gbit/s, abwärtskompatibel zu SATA bis 1,5 Gbit/s ist gewährleistet. Damit lässt sich die HDD auch auf älterer Hardware aufrüsten. Mit der großen Kapazität von 500 GB lässt sich die Festplatte gut für sekundären Speicher verwenden aber auch für die Erstinstallation im Desktop-PC. Mit 7200 RPM und 16MB Cache ist sie auch noch sehr schnell. Sie ist besonders leistungsstark, Energieeffizient und Geräuscharm. Sie garantiert dabei eine lange Lebensdauer.
