Die Samsung Spinpoint F1 ist eine interne 2,4 Zoll Festplatte mit 640 GB. Sie besitzt die gängige Anzahl von zwei Datenscheiben, welche mit bis zu 5400 Umdrehungen pro Minute an jeweils zwei Schreib-Lese-Köpfen vorbeigehen. Er bietet schnelle Zugriffszeiten von etwa 12 ms und ein unauffälliges Betriebsgeräusch. Erwähnenswert ist noch die Schnittstelle SATA 300. Die Datenübertragung läuft mit 375 Mbit/s schnell und problemlos.
