Der SATA/300-Standard gewährleistet eine Datenübertragung mit bis zu 300 MBps bei einer Leistungsaufnahme von 11.1 Watt unter Last. Ausgestattet ist die Festplatte mit 32 MB großen Datenpuffer, der eine schnelle Datenverarbeitung erlaubt. Besonders geeignet ist die Festplatte für den Dauerbetrieb.
