item was just as described. it's not the original but that's from the 80s. from the inventor of the Rubix Cube . it's a gift so not opened but expect it to function just the same. great gift for puzzle as well as cube fans. Shipping came before expected but was a good 5-6 weeks to get to US. but happy as can be now that it's here.
