Looks even better than the pictures!
I know it sounds crazy to say I love my mailbox, but I love my mailbox! The space allocated for my mailbox is rather narrow, but it fits perfectly. The product is very well made. It feels sturdy (unlike the flimsy one it is replacing), and I even like the embossed "Mail" on the front. I like having the option of locking the mailbox in case I want to have someone drop off something like a key or a cheque. It gives me that added sense of security. The locking flap is useless...
It doesn't show any photos of the lockable flap under the lid in the ad for a reason. It's useless. The lock is cheap & clunky. You lift up the lid & there's a flap that covers almost the entire entry except for a 1/4 inch gap across the back. You almost can't see the gap so it might confuse the postman. My second complaint is the lid itself. After you mount the box flush against a wall, the lid requires a little clearance to open & close. It pushes the box forward almost off the screws holding box to wall. So once you open the lid you have to push the box back down on the screws, fumble with the flap, close the lid & push it back down again. It only has 2 holes for hardware towards the top on the back.
