Classic patches at a great price.

Tubes are too expensive to not patch your flats! These low cost patches work great, with proper prep. You do need to rough up the patch area and apply a thin coat of cement. After setting up a bit, remove the patch from its backing (without touching the adhesive side) and press into the cement centering the patch over the hole. I always use a smooth tool to finish the job by firmly rubbing the patch into the cement. The tube is ready to use again after this last step! A couple of pointers; Don't try patching a hole that would cause a new patch to overlap an older patch Don't try patching a hole that's too close to the valve stem Don't allow multiple patches to girdle the tube, the tube needs to expand some with pressure, the patches don't expand Don't try to patch a slit along a seam ...

peel-off plastic film often tears up

The main problem with the product is that the peel-off plastic film often tears up and does not come off in one piece. The pieces that are left behind on the sticker are near impossible to remove without damaging the sticker and at the places where pieces of the peel-off film are left behind the sticker (obviously) doesn't stick to the tire tube. Furthermore, the peel-off plastic film is so thin that it gets statically charged by pulling it off the sticker and starts clinging to one's hand and to other objects, or gets blown away and pollutes the environment. Also, the first sticker I applied came loose in one corner. Due to this I had to discard the bike tube. In retrospect, this failure could have been due to part of the peel-off film preventing that corner of the sticker to stick to the ...

  • rubber tube patches, you also need to buy glue seperately.

lots of patches, not a lot of money these need to be glued on with rubber cement or patch solvent. won't stick adequately without additional glue that is bought separately

  • Work well, great value.

Thin, work well in narrow, high pressure road tires. Good adhesion, excellent success so far and better price than I can get at any store.
