If that's the case, why did the post office give it a tracking number and tracked it from the seller in Athens, Ga to Alpharetta,Ga 64 miles away and send me an email that they lost my package.     Defective Part, It was not the only one...

    The part was defective / cross-wired, showed the door as open when closed and closed when open. I found multiple buyers that had the same issue. It seems as though, the base part must have been mixed up on the production line.
