Had to add a washer to the pivot on the bracket to get rid of excessive play, and that made it really work well. The bracket comes with a 'quick connect' lever that is intended in some manner to connect the handle to the float bracket, but there is no way to slide the handle onto the bracket without removing it completely. I instead opted to use a nut and bolt to solidly attach the handle.
