    This is the first Anita Blake Vampire hunter book. If you read this one, You will be hooked!Laurell K. Hamilton is my absolute favorite. This cult favorite makes its trade paperback debut and reminds fans how Anita Blake started raising the dead--and killing the undead--and how she met Jean Claude, the master vampire, destined to become not only her biggest nemesis, but her greatest lover. Boy is he HOT!!!!!!!!!!!

    Excellent. Pleasantly surprised

    This book is a very good read. It is a step up from the twilight series. Very good writing and interesting twists. This book is a real world view of what life is like for a human involved in the supernatural world. It is not souped up with mush or lovey dovey writing but has a darker love interest. All in all and excellent book and highly recommended.
